Logo

Welcome back!!

When I saw the topic: Logo Design, I thought “oh..cool..logo”, I wasn’t happy about it because I thought it’d be hard to create my own logo. But, once I started gathering ideas, it became easier to draw them. I had to do a lot of thinking; thinking in the kitchen while cooking, thinking in the shower and moreover thinking while watching my TV shows.
It is amazing how when we are confused or stressed, our brain makes us think about the same topic over and over everywhere we go. I also had to do google search to look at examples and I found out something amazing: Firefox logo is of a fox on fire. When I told my friend about it, he was shocked about the fact that I just now see the fox on fire. He started laughing right away because its been years since the Firefox first came out.

The most important discovery that I made in the creation of my logo is that it is easy to think of an idea but when It comes to putting it on a piece of paper, it takes hours. I used stars, pencil, book, my initials(DD) and a heart and chicken because they are all part of who I am. I have tattoo of a star because to me, it represents guidance. Because of my Blog name “another one writes the blog”, I added a pencil and a book. And I love chicken. Inside the heart, the two eyes looking thing are my initials: that's who i am.
From the video, PowerPoint, and the reading material for this project, I learnt that designing a logo is a very long process and it includes the company, and the designer’s team. I also learnt about the basic information on how to design my own logo.
I thought the videos were interesting and that logo is a brand that describes you/ your company.
